As a restaurant owner, local SEO (search engine optimization) on your Website is an important marketing approach to build your local presence.
One way to improve your local search ranking and build your NAP (Name, Address, Phone) trust factor is through Google My Business.

Google My Business is a free tool that allows you to promote your business profile and business website on Google Search and Maps.
Google My Business gives you the power to attract and engage customers when they search for your business on Google. Your Business Profile gives you a presence on Google Search and Maps, allows you to respond to Reviews, post photos, and add/edit your business details.
Although you cannot control your reviews on Google, they are automatically crawled and directly reflect the search results. However, the effectiveness of this crawl depends on the web presence of your Google My Business page, so it is important to optimize your Google My Business page effectively.
Here are some quick ideas:
Set up a Google My Business page if you don't already have one.
Go through each section of the Google My Business page and update each section. The more information available within your Google My Business page the better optimized your page will become.
Ask customers to leave reviews on your business.
Add as many images as you can that visually represent your brand. Include menu images, inside your restaurant images, images of your dishes.
Use promotional Google posts on special holiday offerings or tastings.
Results will not come instantly, but keep going. Eventually Google will reward you with increased local ranking.
