Some businesses instinctively work well together - like a local restaurant and ice cream shop. When thinking about a partnership, it's important to think about how you could put together a group of synergistic, non-competitive businesses in your area and agree to cross-promote.

You can use coupons, fliers, reciprocal website links, bundled promotions and social media to promote your partnership. Give your customers a coupon to the other business, and vice versa. Or, you can promote each other to your email lists.
By collaborating with each other, you can expand your customer base because you’ll be reaching new people.
